What is Ebates?  
Ebates is a site that pays you a percentage of the amount spend from your online shopping.  The amount varies, different site pay out a higher percentage than others.

How does it work?

Most sites use affiliate referral programs ( Example:  You are on SassyGalBeauty, you see a product listed you like, you click the link and purchase.  SassyGalBeauty would then get a % of that purchase as SassyGalBeauty "referred" you to their site")  The difference with Ebates, is they pay you back a portion of the % they make.  (Normal referral links on my site do NOT generate the type of revenue that Ebates does for their referral system.)

Is it a Scam??  Is it Legal?

No.  It is NOT a scam, you really do get money back on your qualifying purchases.  

YES.  100% legal, the sites listed on Ebates have partnered with them to pay out a certain % of sales generated.

How do I sign up?

How to Get Paid:

1. Search Ebates for the site / store you wish to purchase from
2. Go through the Ebates site to start a "Shopping Trip"
3. Shop until your heart's content
4. Ebates Pays Quarterly.
5. Your account won't be credited until your order ships 

If Problems Arise:

Everytime you initiate a "shopping trip", ebates records it.  Most of the time, there aren't issues.  There are times however, when things go awry and your shopping trip isn't recorded as a purchase.

When this happens, just follow these steps:

1. Find your Order Confirmation Email
2. Open Ebates
3. Go to Help
4. Find:  "Where's My Big Cash Back?"
5. Initiate a ticket
6. Scroll through the shopping trips and locate the correct trip
7. You will need your Order # 
8. Copy & Paste your Entire Order Confirmation Email
9. Wait 2-3 business days for a response, it generally doesn't take long!!

My Ebates:

I signed up last November and have earned $81, and that's really just from Nov - May.  I've not been really buying anything in the past six months.  That's solely based on my shopping trips, I've received no referrals whatsoever!!

You literally make money buying the stuff you were going to by anyway!!

No Shortage of Available Stores:

Almost every possible brand or site you could want to purchase from, is listed on ebates.  Clearly little mom & pop sites aren't going to be on Ebates (Etsy is on ebates).  The amount earned varies, they will have specials at different times for various sites.

My Experience:

I received my sunglasses fairly quickly.  I actually have delayed my posting because I had wrapped them as a gift for my son for Christmas and it wasn't until after Christmas was over and I started thinking about everything my children received that I realized he never opened the sunglasses, so I'm not quite sure where the "Sunglasses Present" disappeared to.  I had wanted to get some pictures of my son wearing his new shades, and so sadly since the sunglasses are MIA, I was unable to do so.  

It really stinks, because this was one of those gifts I knew he was going to get really excited to see!  However, that's not massvisioninc.com's problem or fault. 

Besides my sunglasses or Cody's Sunglasses going missing, I was really happy with this pair of sunglasses.  DG sunglasses are everywhere it seems and I always seem to hover over their styles versus other styles when I'm in the store.  I also know that Cody would have LOVED these, he would have been extremely thrilled with getting these if they hadn't gone missing!

Overall:  

I'm really pleased with this product and even more impressed by the site in which sent these to me for review.  I think that they have really affordable options for any budget as well as a lot of varieties of types of sunglasses.  They don't just sell sunglasses, but also offer a variety of other types of glasses from Safety Goggles to Reading Glasses to Clip-Ons and Fit-Overs, they have just about any type of glasses that you may be searching for.

They also have a blog in which they give different types of helpful advice in regards to sunglasses.  One article is a post about choosing your sunglasses based on your face shape!

With the beginning of a New Year, what better time to start thinking about updating and making changes to your home as well?  We can get ourselves in a "design rut" and have the best intentions of sprucing things up and making them all new and pretty "one day" and sometimes you wake up and realize that it's been fifteen years since you did a "Overhaul" on your bedroom, living room, etc.

Dotandbo.com is a superb site for all your decorating needs!  They have just about anything you could think of when it comes to home decor!!  They also have some fun and quirky items that make fabulous gifts!  I'm telling you, stroll through their site and you will get lost in a neverland of quirky awesomeness!

A Shopper's Dream....

So, many of my readers are probably aware that I am greatly hindered in my ability to freely go places.  Our current transportation is severly lacking.  We are surviving with absolutely no vehicle and so we are dependeant upon the kindness of others to get anywhere.  This can GREATLY impact things such as purchasing gifts, etc.  Thank GOD for the internet and the unlimited possibilities of shopping online.

I'm not exactly sure when exactly I became aware of DotAndBo.com, but I know I've been stalking their site for quite some time.  So, back in September I believe it was, I first contacted them to inquire about doing a review on my site.  It took a bit of time to actually get things in order, but in December, I was finally lucky enough to receive my review product!!

So, I had the opportunity to select I believe up to 3 items.  I'm going to be really honest, I had such a hard time narrowing my choices to just 3, I believe I ended up giving the poor Marketing person about 6 different items that I was dying to get my hands on.

So, I wasn't quite sure what would be arriving at my home when I received the email that my item had shipped!

The Eggscellent Rug from DotandBo.com is 2' x 3' long and this is my first ever NEW rug that I've ever had!  This rug is absolutely gorgeous!   I'm almost afraid to keep it put down.  The reason it has taken me so long to put my review up, is I like to take really gorgeous pictures and my bathroom is the only half way decent floor space that I had and I just wasn't pleased with how it looked (On MY end, nothing to do with the rug).

So, one of the most AWESOME things about the Dotandbo.com site, is that when you sign up through a referral link, you receive a $20 credit and the person who referred you also receives a $20 credit!!  I finally spammed my Facebook with my referral link and was able to save up enough credits to make a really significant purchase!!

I am IN LOVE with this chair.  Unfortunately, there was some type of issue when DotandBo received my chair and it didn't meet their "Quality Control" standards and so I haven't actually received it as of yet (They are hoping maybe by February I should have it)

(One of the reasons I delayed my review, was I really had hoped to have live pictures of my rocking chair to show you guys, I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as it comes in!  I'm so stinking excited about this chair!!!!  I'm hoping to make it my "YouTube" filming chair :)

CHECK THE SHIPPING DATES:

So, the thing about DotandBo.com is that they work with several artists and different suppliers, which is why their site is so absolutely vast and filled with such a unique array of products.  The one downfall to this, is that there can be a delay in when a product will ship.  However, you will know around about when your product should ship.  It will tell you when your looking at the product when that particular item should ship.  I just wanted to notate this so that if you do go shopping on this site, you aren't shocked if you don't pay attention and then realize only later that it might be a month before your items ship!

My Christmas Purchases:

Like I said previously, there are SO many items I want on this site, that I could easily spend about $20,000 and not blink twice.  They have such a fascinating selection of products, that it's hard to narrow down what you want!

After purchasing my chair, I found myself with a little of extra leftover and so I had my eye on this LegoHead for awhile!  It took maybe about a week to receive it after it shipped.  So, that's not TERRIBLE, but I suppose that it's a way for them to bring quality products at a fair price.  They price shipping based on the purchase price.

The items themselves were TOP notch!  So, I now have THREE items from DotandBo.com and I am overly pleased with them all!  The LegoHead was so much larger than what I had anticipated it to be!  It ended up being a gift for my 13 year old daughter and she LOVES it!

Ms. LegoHead even looks good with the lid off!  It really is a handy storage container!!  I know as of right now, the site is sold out, but you can click the "I want it" button and they will send you an alert when the item is back in stock (If they bring it back).

OVERALL:

Overall, I am obsessed with the dotandbo.com site!  I mean, they have products ranging from gorgeous rugs to sofas!!  If it goes in your house, you can find it on the DotandBo.com site!!  Seriously!  They have EVERYTHING!!!  Just a couple points to remember:  You can get a $20 credit if you sign up through a referral link: dotandbo.com (My referral Link) !  (You cannot pay shipping costs with referral credits) SHIPPING:  Note the shipping dates when you are making your purchases!!! Share your own referral link to get more credits!!

One thing that I am disappointed in, is the shipping of my chair.  I had to seek out answers as to where my chair was.  It had been marked as shipped within two days of my purchase and yet, a week or so later the tracking wasn't updating and so I literally had to call and message them about five times before I finally was told that they had received the chair from the artist and it didnt' meet their standards and so they had sent it back to get me a new chair.  

I probably could easily put about a hundred items in my favorites!  Literally!  I have everything from a gorgeous set of dishes to little radios on my current favorites list!

Keeping Warm:

The winter time is of course, the season in which we all shiver and huddle everywhere we go, trying to keep warm amidst all the freezing, harsh weather.  So, choosing great accessories in which to keep your feetsies and your fingers and your ears are HIGHLY important during this season!

This beanie definitely has the ears part covered!  My husband has been using this religously since we received it, about a month ago.  He works construction and so he's always outside battling the cold air.  So, having a nice cap to cover his ears is always a MUST-have during this season! 

Besides the obvious feature of being a great way to keep warm, it's also a trendy accessory as well.  Men and teenagers still love the "look" of wearing beanies and this one is no exception.

This shirt was made for activity.  For men or women who are active.  It's a shirt that can be worn for a variety of activities from surfing to the weight room.  This shirt covers a wide variety of purposes.  It also can be worn just for the heck of it!

My son, who is 15 is at that age where he is starting to care about what he wears and is all into having to have the "Name Brand" clothing.  But, I knew that this would be a shirt he was going to have a fit over.  I was originally going to save it for "under the tree", but I couldn't resist and ended up giving in and giving it to him early!!

They have a variety of colors, from white to royal blue.  I chose a "Seafoam Green", that almost appears to be gray.  It seems I made the right selection, because I don't see that option any longer!  Since giving him this shirt about three weeks ago, he's worn it countless times as you will see in the pictures below!!!

The top itself is really pretty, I like how it is a green/ gray color by but has "white threading".  It's kinda a shiny shirt reminsicent of an UnderArmor type top!

Great Gift Idea!!!

Giving Back this Season:

In the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season it's so easy to get caught up in the materialistic aspects of the season.  With so many things needing to be done, there are decorations that must be bought or made...  There is endless amounts of lists, shopping, meal planning, traveling...  We all, even those of us whom don't really have endless amounts of events to go to, still get caught up in the preperations of it all...

So, I found this site through a fellow blogger and fell in love with the pieces that Helen's Jewel's carry!  They have a unique selection of gorgeous jewelry pieces as well as a few evening bags as well.  I contacted them and asked them if I could include them in my Holiday Gift Guide, because what better gift for a woman than fabulous jewels??

My Experience:

So, the folks at Helen's Jewels were kind enough to allow me to pick from their fabulous collection of pieces.  It was so difficult to choose, because they have such a wide variety of items!  I finally decided upon my bangle and gorgeous earrings!

They arrived really quickly.  I believe within two days I had received my items!  So, it's always really great to deal with a company that is so quick to get your items out to you!  They also seem to be really quick to reply to their customer's!  Customer service is a HUGE thing with me, I mean you can have the most fabulous items in the world, but if you have crap for customer service you aren't going to retain customer's for long!

So, I really appreciate a company who makes every customer feel special!  Because after all, we all are special and should be treated that way!  And the folks at Helen's Jewel's, definitely made me feel like I was a special customer.

 Earrings:

These earrings are so exquisite!  They are these little square dangly earrings that have like little gold hearts at the corner of them.  Gorgeous detailing!  I was so pleased with these!!

 Bracelet:

This Bracelet I believe was called like maybe Bohemian??  I can't remember y'all!  But, I loved the simplicity yet elegant design to this.  It's something you could either wear with a pair of jeans and top or you can wear it with a fancy dress!  I honestly will be pairing it with jeans as I um, don't dress up much!

Both of these pieces are genuinely quality pieces.  I was super impressed.  These aren't those kind of pieces that you receive and they look as if they have come from China and will likely fall apart at any moment!  These are truly HIGH quality and finely made pieces of jewelry!  This isn't "junk" jewelry!
