About Aggravation:

If you've ever played the game, Sorry, then you will have no trouble figuring out the rules and object of Aggravation.  It's a very simple, straightforward game that's fun for all ages!

This particular board is double sided.  One side features up to six players, while the flip-side has only 4 available players.

Players start at their homebase and the object is to be the first one with all of their marbles in their "Home" spot (much like Sorry).

Craftsmanship:

The quality of this board is simply astounding.  It's absolutely gorgeous.  I believe that my particular board is 20" and made out of Oak wood.  You can tell that this is not a cheaply produced game.  It's a piece of art.  I'm almost afraid to let my children at it (not really, it's extremely durable)

My Thoughts:

I cannot convey to you how excited my husband was when he discovered that I was going to have the opportunity to test out this drone.  I mean, I'm sure that 99% of the men and teen boys in the US would die to have a Drone.  That's why I decided this would be a great gift for a multiple of categories!  Of course, I'm sure that there are a bunch of women who would enjoy this as well!!

We've truly had the best time playing with this quadcopter!  It's been so much fun!  We've had airplanes & helicopters in the past and had major issues with trying to keep it steady and to balance it but didn't experience any of those issues with this!

The Pros:

• Super fun!
• The quadcopter is extremely stable (more details later)
• It runs extremely smoothly
• Features a camera (2.0) for pictures or video!
• VERY lightweight
• Has shields to protect the wings
• Affordable!!  Under $100 (These things can go into the thousands)
• Can flip mid-air!!

Cons:

Battery Time

There is only one con.  That's the flying time.  The battery only allows for a maximum fly time of 7 minutes.  Charging takes up to 90 - 100 minutes

However, I've been searching for batteries to see if it was possible to purchase a higher battery for the copter and it appears that the ones featured with this Ohuhu Quad is one of the highest mAH that is sold.  The Ohuhu features a 600 mAH and the largest I could find on Amazon was 650.  

The batteries tend to be sold in multi-packs.  So, I asssume that the battery life is a common problem and that's why they sell so many in sets.  The work-around is to make certain to have enough batteries on hand so that you can be prepared if you are planning on spending a large amount of time flying.

So, this was going to be a Christmas gift for my son.  It still is, it's just it became an "Early" birthday present instead!  However, prior to giving it to him, my husband and I took this little buggy for a spin.  

For starters, it came with everything we needed to set up, which I so appreciated!  I mean, I detest when I get home or Christmas morning comes and OOPS let's do the "battery scramble".  So, that's a huge BONUS points for me.  So, anyway, it was really simple, I popped the batteries into the charging pack and then hooked it to the Car to charge (The car has to be off in order to operate).  I'd say we waited about 45 minutes before we even looked and it was fully charged and ready to go!

(It also includes a USB charger that can be used in the place of the battery pack!)

I actually created a video, but need to put it into YouTube format so that I can add it to the post.

It was really fun and had us giggling.  It is also EXTREMELY fast.  My husband, who has had NUMEROUS RC cars in his days, kept saying "Man, this thing is fast!"  So, I'm really impressed with this!  

My son's birthday is on Dec. 15, I had to actually show it to him to make sure that giving him a "Remote Control" car was appropriate ( I mean, he's 15 so who knows!!)  He was really excited about this car and has been pleased with it!

Now, I personally, think this is a toy that's geared towards more of 10 and up because it is a bit small and so you wouldn't want a younger child whom may have a tendency to throw or not take care of their toys to get it and break it.

I guess, it's the speed and the tricks and stuff that this car does that makes me feel it's better suited towards older kids.  I'm sure it basically depends on the child and their maturity, etc.  I mean, any age child can enjoy it, but probably kids a bit older will appreciate everything this little car will do!

My Thoughts...

I really am in love with this little DINO!  I got this with my 5 year old nephew in mind.  While he LOVES race cars, I'm almost certain he's gonna flip out when he unwraps this Prehistoric toy.

Batteries NOT Included...

Just FYI this Dino DOES NOT include batteries. So, if you purchase please make sure to have some AA batteries on hand so that your kid isn't a little upset when he opens his toy only to discover he's gotta wait until mom runs to the store.....

The batteries go inside the Dino's belly in this well hidden little nook.  It's super easy to open, just get you a little screwdriver pop in some AA batteries and you are SET...

WARNING:  Will immediately start to ROAR...  See the orange button in the above photo?? Simply press that button and your Dino will quieten down...

Slides...

One of the coolest features of this Dino are the slides that come with it.

So, I have been ANXIOUSLY awaiting this box for a LONG time now!  I've been almost like a kid waiting for this box!  So, when it arrived today, it took EVERYTHING in my power not to open it up!!!  

Ok, so let me just tell you.  When I first discovered that there was even a such thing as NerdBlock Jr for girls, I was PRAYING if I was lucky enough to have received one, that I would get a Hello Kitty, I am IN LOVE with Hello Kitty stuff!  I would make my bedroom Hello Kitty if I didn't think folks would stare at me strange....  So, I purchase Hello Kitty under the guise of it being for my thirteen year old when it's really ALL FOR ME....  So.... to have Hello Kitty be the FIRST thing I see when I open my box, I was STOKED!!!!!  SOOOOOOOO happy!!!!

 The next thing I saw was the lanyard that also had a Disney Pin / Brooch inside the package!  So cute.  This could really come in handy if you are spending the day at the lake or at a water park and need a place to stash your money or ID or whatever!  Not quite sure what a kid's gonna do with it...  But the pin is cute!

The next thing I saw was the Frozen Bracelets, my daughter is 13 and so she's a tad old to appreciate these bracelets.  She LOVES the movie!  But, the bracelets.. Not so much.  But, she's not their target demographic!  

Face Tattoo:

These are SUPER cute and something I know that Callie will end up using at some point!  

FINALLY:  COMIC BOOK

I wish that they had a "Girlie" comic book.  I believe that the girls get the same comic book that comes in the "Boys" box.  I think putting Archie comics in the girl's boxes would be a great idea!  That was my favorite sub when I was a kid!

Gift Idea:

I think that either the NerdBlock Jr. For Girls OR Boys would make a excellent gift idea for any kid in your life!  It's literally a gift that keeps on giving!  Then, if you have an older "kid" who is really into video games and stuff you could also look at purchasing the Nerd Block Original for older teens!  These are great items!  They aren't junky cheap things in this box, these are HIGH quality pieces and a lot of these items are collector's items!

Ok, so I have a ton of other stuff I really need to be reviewing right now, but I couldn't contain my excitement for this item!!

What It Is:

Discover With Dr. Cool has a variety of really neat items for kids where they can get their hands dirty.  Since my kids were itty bitty, I've always actively searched for toys that were both educational in nature as well as the kind that got them active and doing something.  The items that Dr. Cool has definitely fit that description.

This is a really neat set.  It contains this huge purple like crystal.  Inside there are three gems:  Quartz Crystal, Amethyst and a Tiger's Eye.  It also includes an activity book for the kids as well.  It contains like mazes, puzzles things of that nature.  It's really REALLY nicely made too, this isn't a cheapo product by ANY means!!  

Callie Gets Her Hands Dirty... And my bed...

 I was a little surprised at how much Callie enjoyed this!  I mean, I knew that I thought it was cool.  However, she's thirteen and so I NEVER know what she's going to like these days.  GOSH I mean, I dread Christmas because she's just at that age where I DO NOT know what to buy her !!

The Tiger's Eye is Just BARELY Visible...

So, when she came in and tore into this package (I usually stop my kids from touching items until I'm ready to review them!) I didn't want to even mess with fate, so I just let her go for it.  She really dug in and enjoyed it.  She was chipping away at that rock!!  She was so excited when she saw the shiny Tiger's Eye peeking out through the rock!

I wish that perhaps we would have taken this activity either to the kitchen table or outside, but I honestly was just happy she was doing something other than playing on her phone or computer!!  It really kept her attention for quite a long time!  I think it would have even been something that my 15 year old son would have enjoyed had he seen it first!  He likes doing stuff like this where you have ro use your hands!

Great Gift Idea

I chose this for the Holiday Gift Guide as a gift idea for kids.  The reason being, it's something that will get your kids active!  It's also educational, without it even seeming like it's educational.  It includes booklets that talk about gemstones, so they can learn while they have fun too!  I love items where kids can really work with their hands and also learn at the same time.  Your teaching your kids through play and that's the best way for anyone to learn is through active learning!

I really think this would be an appropriate gift for kids of just about all ages!  Of course, if you have younger kids, you might have to help them out some, but otherwise I think just about any age group would love this!  It's a toy that's gender neutral!  So, boys OR girls can enjoy getting their hands dirty!!

My OVERALL Thoughts

I LOVE it!  I wish I could have MORE of Dr. Cool's items!  I was so happy when I saw how much fun Callie was having with this!  It's not expensive either!!  It's like $11.99, which is very affordable!  So, if you are like me and have to shop on a budget, this is a fabulous option!  The quality was so surprising to me.  These are high gloss thick pages in the books that come inside!  It's a toy but also a learning experience!  You just can't beat that!!
