So, this was going to be a Christmas gift for my son.  It still is, it's just it became an "Early" birthday present instead!  However, prior to giving it to him, my husband and I took this little buggy for a spin.  

For starters, it came with everything we needed to set up, which I so appreciated!  I mean, I detest when I get home or Christmas morning comes and OOPS let's do the "battery scramble".  So, that's a huge BONUS points for me.  So, anyway, it was really simple, I popped the batteries into the charging pack and then hooked it to the Car to charge (The car has to be off in order to operate).  I'd say we waited about 45 minutes before we even looked and it was fully charged and ready to go!

(It also includes a USB charger that can be used in the place of the battery pack!)

I actually created a video, but need to put it into YouTube format so that I can add it to the post.

It was really fun and had us giggling.  It is also EXTREMELY fast.  My husband, who has had NUMEROUS RC cars in his days, kept saying "Man, this thing is fast!"  So, I'm really impressed with this!  

My son's birthday is on Dec. 15, I had to actually show it to him to make sure that giving him a "Remote Control" car was appropriate ( I mean, he's 15 so who knows!!)  He was really excited about this car and has been pleased with it!

Now, I personally, think this is a toy that's geared towards more of 10 and up because it is a bit small and so you wouldn't want a younger child whom may have a tendency to throw or not take care of their toys to get it and break it.

I guess, it's the speed and the tricks and stuff that this car does that makes me feel it's better suited towards older kids.  I'm sure it basically depends on the child and their maturity, etc.  I mean, any age child can enjoy it, but probably kids a bit older will appreciate everything this little car will do!

So, if you are a twenty-something or have a daughter over the age of seven, chances are pretty huge that you have heard of One Direction.  One Direction burst on the US scene after having taken the UK by storm after their huge win on X Factor (The UK version).  These five guys, who prior to X-Factor UK had never met, were formed by Simon Cowell (whom let's all face it, KNOWS how to form fabulous groups) and have become the boy band of the present generation.  They are to my daughter what New Kids on the Block was to me.

This shirt was made for activity.  For men or women who are active.  It's a shirt that can be worn for a variety of activities from surfing to the weight room.  This shirt covers a wide variety of purposes.  It also can be worn just for the heck of it!

My son, who is 15 is at that age where he is starting to care about what he wears and is all into having to have the "Name Brand" clothing.  But, I knew that this would be a shirt he was going to have a fit over.  I was originally going to save it for "under the tree", but I couldn't resist and ended up giving in and giving it to him early!!

They have a variety of colors, from white to royal blue.  I chose a "Seafoam Green", that almost appears to be gray.  It seems I made the right selection, because I don't see that option any longer!  Since giving him this shirt about three weeks ago, he's worn it countless times as you will see in the pictures below!!!

The top itself is really pretty, I like how it is a green/ gray color by but has "white threading".  It's kinda a shiny shirt reminsicent of an UnderArmor type top!

Great Gift Idea!!!

So, teen boys can be difficult to purchase for!  If it's not a $200 phone or a $400 game system, it really can be hard to find reasonably priced items that they are going to enjoy.  This top, truly is a great gift for your teenage son who is active in sports or just likes to look nice!!  Clothing is always a must gift at Christmas time and this definitely fits into the perfect clothing gift idea!!

Ok...  So, when I saw a subscription called:  The Sassy Box, I mean I thought I was going to flip out!  I was SOOOO excited!  A box couldn't be anymore perfect for me to review, than a box named "Sassy"...  So, I contacted them and begged for the opportunity to review their box and luckily for me they agreed!!

So, I've always had a love affair with paper goods... Pens, notebooks, journals, pretty paper, etc.  I cannot tell you how much paper stuffs and pens I own...  So, I really love the idea of a monthly box in which you get surprise goodies like this!

Love this pen!  Not only is it a super cute pen, but the top can ALSO be used as a stylus for your tablets!  Super ingenius and definitely practical!  I love when items are cute but also have a functional purpose!  Debating on whether to enjoy this myself or be nice and save it for someone for Christmas.....

Ok, so let me just say this picture is after I had taken a bite and remembered I needed to photograph it for the blog... It didn't come eaten, I promise....

This was a tasty surprise!  A delish Oatmeal and raisin cookie!!

Overall

I love this box, not just because it carries the same name as Sassy...  But, because it truly is a unique and fun idea.  Too often we get so caught up with technology and we forget that a handwritten note can brighten someones day.  

It shows them that you have taken extra care to do something just for them!  We all should make it a practice to remember to send personal, handwritten notes to those we care about.

In this day and age where our children are no longer learning how to write in cursive, it's so important to keep the practice of handwritten notes going.  If we don't, kids are going to eventually not know how to even use handwriting skills....  It shouldn't be an "art", but an essential part of life and sadly it's becoming a lost cause....

Ok... If you ever read my reviews, you've probably heard me talk about my daughter who is 13 and at the age in which I'd like to pull my hair out one by one...  She is at an age where even if she LOVES something, if she even THINKS that it's something I would like she despises it...

So, finding items for her has NEVER been an issue for me EVER...  Now, I find myself not being able to win no matter what I do... So, I was really thrilled when I saw this service on another blogger's site and jumped at the chance to try it out and see if I could get QUEEN of I DON'T LIKE to actually like something...

It worked.  I believe that I received the Tweens box, I'm not 100% on that, but the size of the T-shirt seems to be really small and so that's what I'm thinking!

This is a cute item...  definitely geared towards kids, but my 13 year old LOVED it!

Pink House Suede Buckle Bracelet: $15

Ok, so....  I couldn't figure out what this was.. LOL I knew it was cute, but Callie was the one who called it...  She knew it was a bracelet....  Shows how unhip I am...  

This is super soft !!  LOVE it, so did my daughter!!

Two's Company Ugg Lip Gloss: $7

I didn't realize what this was at first, it has a little chain on it, so I thought it was just a cute keychain, but when I realized that it was a lip gloss, it made me love it THAT much more!

My Daughter LOVED it... And I have to say that she's so hard to please the fact that she loves this box and everything inside of it, SPEAKS VOLUMES!  NO JOKE...  I can't make her happy to save my life.

Curly Eraser Pencil:  $1

This was a cute little addition!  I love little trinkets like this and so do little girls.. Something about females and cutesy stuff...

Flappy Mittens:  $14$

Ok, this was probably handsdown my daughter's favorite part of this whole box.  AND mine as well.  I love these!  SUCH a great item for this time of year.  I loved that this box seemed to be geared towards winter and Christmas!  It was a perfect accessory for a Winter Box!

Felt Tote:  $14

Ok, so THIS I snatched for myself... Sorry, I know that's horrible but HEY, it's mom who does all the work for these sensational items!!  LOL

This seriously is super cute!  I LOVE it!!!  It's perfect, I think for any age!  My daughter liked it as well, but she was happy with the trade-off of her keeping everything else and me getting this one itsy bitsy item!

Don't Wish, Just Be T-Shirt:  $22

This was a super cute top!  However, the size was way too small for either myself or my daughter....  

But, it's a cute top and love the message it sends!!

Overall Thoughts:

I love this service.  Their whole message is about empowering young women to be proud of WHO they are.. Not wish to be someone else, but be happy in your own skin.  That's such a HUGE and important part of what is important for kids today!  They need that encouragement and message to know that being yourself is the best you that you can be!

I really recommend this service for those with daughters ages 8 and up!  This is a service that I know that young girls would get excited about!

So, I have to say it's times like this when my job is super easy!  Not to say that I don't put an incredible amount of work into this, but it's so easy to review such a wonderful service that offers gorgeous items!

Anyone who is a regular reader or watches my YouTube videos, probably know how much I obsess over packaging.  I think it's UBER important for subscription services to make your monthly box a whole EXPERIENCE, not just a box with a couple items thrown in...  It tells me a lot about a company when I see how they present their items!

So, Cate & Chloe get an A++++ from me for their gorgeous packaging!  From the tissue paper, to the detail card to the boxes with the jewelry, it's all in the details and they have done a fantasitic job paying attention to the minute details that some overlook!!

Unboxed:  Inside the Square

So, I am so picky with jewelry.  Being someone who, in their spare time sells jewelry, I really am quite picky about recommending jewelry to people.  I feel as if it's part of my reputation to not recommend items, I wouldn't sell to my own customers....

When I opened these boxes of GOODIES, I was pleasantly surprised.  These are NOT your cheap, run of the mill pieces.  These are truly high-end quality pieces.  The detailing on them are exquisite!  I'm not one for big, huge "statement" pieces and so I love the simplicity that define these pieces.  They are fancy, yet can be worn easily with a pair of jeans and boots....  

Mary "Motherly' Necklace RV: $115

Ok, so this is one BEAUTIFUL stunning piece!  The detailing on the pendant is insanely gorgeous!  It has little stones on the hangy part...  It's so pretty, it's truly even prettier in person!  I've already worn this necklace in another Unboxing video!!  I was extremely happy with this gorgeous item and will wear it for many moons to come....  This will NOT be a gift I give someone else... It's all MINE.... 

 My camera just wouldn't capture the detailing on this exquisite piece.  The pendant has three stones that line the piece that hangs from the chain.  

The chain itself is a gorgeous and delicate piece.  It's simply stunning!

Olivia "Dignity" Studs: RV $125

These are truly breathtaking earrings and they are by no means tiny! I can't even begin to tell you how big they are, I don't know what to compare them to, but they aren't itty bitty stones.  These are good pieces that no one is going to have to "Strain" to see!  

Like the necklace, I just couldn't capture the dtailing on these.  Trust me, these are beautifully detailed.  They have a gorgeous design on the side of them!  They have detailing that although, they may not be visible to anyone else but yourself, it shows that they were masterfully designed and that they aren't your run of the mill cheap earrings!  They are earrings you would likely (Or I will likely) enjoy for years to come!

 Overall:

I am so pleased with this box.  The two pieces that I received couldn't have been more perfect for me!  I love the simplicity and understated elegance of these pieces.  They truly are works of art.  I would gladly recommend this service to anyone.
