These teacups are actually silicone liners that you can use for baking cupcakes or serving pudding!
My Thoughts:
These are so freaking stinking cute! I love them! I havent' had a chance to bake with these, but I've seen other's who have used them to bake and they seem to work great. I know that with silicone, you should be able to easily pop your cupcakes out vs. a traditional pan. I've used silicone muffin pans, etc and it's so much easier than using traditional metal pans, etc.
I love the idea of these, whomever came up with this idea was ingenious! Seriously! I mean, how much cuter can you get? The only con that I can see with these, are that you only get four cups in a set and so you would have to actually purchase a few sets to be able to even bake a dozen. It would have been nicer if they came in a "ready to go" set. Now, unless I want to purchase two more sets or keep baking and popping the cupcakes out, I'm going to have to go and purchase eight more for it to make sense.
I mean, to use a batch of cake mix with only four liner's you'll have to either pour the rest up in a cake pan or find another muffin pan. I just think it would have made more sense from a customer stand point to sell a set that is enough to fulfill normal cooking requirements.
But, besides there only being four in a pack, these are a great item. They are super cute and would make a perfect item for a young girl's "tea party" birthday party. They sky is the limit to the unique and fun ideas you could use this for!
