Lip Factory: October Unboxing Review

Lip Factory: October Unboxing
October:  Breast Cancer Awareness

Unboxing Lip Factory:

What it is:

Lip Factory is a monthly BEAUTY subscription service.  The cost is:  $22/ monthly.  They send 5-7 FULL sized items each month.  Their focus is on the lip, but they only have an ALL LIP box quarterly.  So, every four months they have a box solely dedicated to the PUCKER....

Purchase your own Lip Factory!!
Please USE my referral code:  387068

UNBOXED:

So, this is always one of my favorite subscriptions since I joined.  I'm rarely disappointed with the items that I get.  It has truly been on of the subscription services that has introduced me to "New" brands I've not heard of...

deVine Lip Shimmer:  RV $8.95

Lip Factory: deVine Lip Shimmer

So, this isn't new to me, ONLY because I received ONE deVine lippy in my October Lip Monthly.  So, it was a nice surprise to get this and actually receive TWO!

My deVine from Lip Monthly was also in another shade!!!  So, I now have THREE shades of this!  Hope I like it!!!

Overall, this is a great item to have during these harsh winter motnhs!  My lips should be GOOD on some lip balm!  I think I'm set!

Frost Lipstick & Lip Gloss:

MIA (Missing In Action!!!)

This product was missing from my bag.  After further investigation, it seems that Frost did not deliver all of the products that Lip Factory had ordered (We did receive the BAG that Lip Factory had ordered)  I have seen SOME with the Frost Lippy, however I was not one of the fortunate ones, I believe that they will be shipping this seperately!

Michael Marcus Lipstick: RV:  $24

 LEE:

So, I GUESS that I got the shade:  Lee...  That's the only thing I can figure since that was on the lippy!

I really love this color!  It's a beautiful color for fall!  I don't like deep, dark colors.  I'm so pale that it just doesn't look right on me!

So, REALLY happy with this lippy!  And at $24 this lipstick pays for my whole bag!!

Frost Makeup Bag:  $10.99

So, FROST those people who didn't send ALL the lippy's that they were supposed to DID in fact send our makeup bags.  I LOVE bags and so I am really happy with this item!!  I just wish the folks at Frost would have sent my dang LIPPY!!!!

Ofra Eyeliner (AGAIN)$13 (Shade:  Grapeful??)

Ok, so this one confuses the HECK out of me.  It doesn't look purple at ALL and the word GRAPE implies PURPLE.....  So, I don't know!  Perhaps it's just me....  I've received so many OFRA products and so I'm really kinda OFRA it by now....  HAHAHA yes I know I'm not funny...

 MYSTERY ITEM: 29

RETAIL VALUE: NO CLUE

Ok, so I've tried to do a TAD bit of investigating and I still cannot confirm what brand this is.  The shade is: Ripe Rose and it's a really lovely color!  So, I'm really happy with it!

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Well, it seems something generally speaking seems to happen with our products each month.  I guess though, it's a good thing that they are waiting to the last minute to get our items so that they can stay on top of the trends and such, but it can get a tad bit aggrevating.  However, this is a subscription I'll be really sad to lose.  I might have to chunk it, afterall Christmas IS coming up and I do have two kids who would like some expensive items !!

 I love my stuff though!

Lip Factory: Sept Unboxing & Review

Autumn Arrives

Lip Factory: September 2014 Review
September 2014:  Lip Factory Review

COST:  $22
Value:  $73.44

**  Lip Factory is a $22 monthly beauty subscription service.  Subscribers receive between 5 and 7 full sized beauty items each month.  Every four months they have a box fully dedicated to the PUCKER, that's right the lip!  If you would like to subscribe, please click here: Lip Factory, Inc. (My ref# 387068)

Ok, so you have NO CLUE how stoked I was when I saw the pamphlet for the September Lip Factory box.  Fall is by far my absolute FAV time of year.  Something about the atmosphere just screams change is coming, I really feel a well of excitement during this time of year.  You have the most awesome holidays in the next few months.

And it's all kicked off with Halloween.  I'm already thinking of putting up my decorations.  I asked my kids when I should put them up, they said ummm.... OCTOBER.  LOL I really would do it NOW, if I didn't think folks would think I was crazier than they already think I am.

So, when I saw this pamphlet all of those excited feelings started bubbling up inside of me!  OK OK OK... ONTO THE makeup GOODIES.....

The September Box:

Ok, I am one of those girls who screams from the mountain top about how much I LOVE Lip Factory.  However, There just was something that just didn't EXCITE me this time.  I really don't know what it was.  It could have been a combination of factors, but I think the main reason is that I like balance.  When I'm decorating I like to have everything equal.  If I have something on the left, I need something in the exact spot on the right.  Everything has to be symetrical.

There doesn't seem to be any symetry to this box I guess you could say.  Well, I take that back, there is somewhat.  But, I like a little of everything, I think that makes the PERFECT box.  Last month, I really loved it.  But, this month I don't HATE it, but I'm not like OMG this is so spectacular.

But, I'll let you tell me what you think.  I could be becoming jaded by all of these boxes.  I am really about to take a bit of a chill, unless people want to start sending me FREE boxes to review.  It's killing my bank account.  My bank account is screaming, NO MORE....  FEEED MEEE

Girlactik Pout Shine
Girlactik Pout Shine:  $19 (Shade:  Pretty)

I haven't ever tried a Girlactik product before.  Honestly, I hope that there products are better than the one I tried.  I couldn't even hardly get any product on my brush, I literally had to scrape the sides to get anything to come out!  It was not good, AT ALL.  Maybe that's normal.  Would I pay $19 for it?  Absolutely not.  The color is ok, but it didn't really look all that great on me, and it was EXTREMELY sticky.  If I were doing a rating for this, it would have to be a 2 Star!  Seriously, and for those who read my reviews, I'm usually pretty hard to displease but I just was NOT impressed.

J.Cat Eyeliner
J. Cat Eye Liner:  $5.99 (Jet Black)
So, this is ok..  If you really want a review on this, let me know in the comments and I will be more than happy to review it for you.  I'm ok with this.  I now have about a million gazillion liners, but not a black gel liner, so I'm good with it.  I love this bottle design.  My first bottle like this was a Cailyn lip tint that I received in the ONE and only GREAT Ipsy bag I ever got (which I've since cancelled as of this month!).  So, I'm ok with this.  Is it something I would wanna see, Idk, It's a black eyeliner.  How many black eyeliners do we see in these sub boxes.  I am ready to be wowed.

Model Co. Eyeshadow
Model Co. $26 ( Shadow Trio:  Palette 01 Naturally Neutral)
 PLUS  Angle Eyeliner Brush:  $9.50
Ok, I really like the idea behind this.  I might even give it a try, but I don't do browns well.  But, that's not Lip Factory's fault.  Had it been a rosey, plum, or white, or something I would be thrilled.  But, I guess September was the month for eyeshadows.  Since Boxycharm ALSO sent out eyeshadows (I got the browns there too LOL).
Ofra Lip Gloss
Ofra Lip Gloss:  $12.95 (Orchid)
This was the boxes SAVING grace!  I loved this Lippy!  I liked the texture of the gloss, it was JUST right, kinda like Goldilocks LOL.  It's super pretty and I can see myself wearing it.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

So, while there really and truly was only one BLAH item to me, I wasn't really WOWED this month.  Not like I was last month!  Last month besides the lashes, I was really excited!  That box got OTHERS excited!  This month, um not so much.  I mean, maybe I'm wrong.  I'm really so disappointed after trying the Girlactik Pout Shine, it's hard to look past it.  For the most part, I can see Autumn/ Fall in this box.  Although, the lip choice color for the Girlactik doesn't "scream" fall.

The other months, I've received my Lip Factory box, I really have been happy.  This time, I will see if I'll end up using the products.  If I don't, they will definitley make great gifts for the family.

What do you think of this month's Lip Factory box?  Am I just being jaded??  Did it wow you??  What was your favorite part of this whole box??  I love to hear back from folks so I know I'm not just speaking to myself!  So please, let me know if I"m just being a brat...  Please.

Lip Factory: August 2014 Review

August 2014 Lip Factory Review

**Lip Factory is a monthly beauty subscription service.  The cost is $22/ monthly, and subscribers receive 5-7 FULL sized products.  The products tend to run more mid-range cost, rather than obscenely expensive.  But, I've not once received a "Deluxe Sized Sample".  If you would like to subscribe, Please go here:Lip Factory Inc..  My REFERRAL # 387068 (You use this when filling out your beauty profile!)

The Goodies!

I found Lip Factory after stumbling across a YouTube video for Lip Monthly.  I loved the girls' videos and found myself watching her videos for about two hours!  She had several videos on Lip Factory.  I had NEVER heard of Lip Factory, and at this time I was pretty involved in the whole subscription world!  I've only been a subscriber now for two months, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how much I love the products I've received!!  Last month was the "Anniversary Box", and honestly it was fabulous, but I was much more impressed by how more balanced August's box was. (I really appreciate a box that has a little of everything).

First Look- Lip Factory Inc.
First Look
Red Cherry False Lashes:  $2.00  This will be the ONLY item I won't use.  As, I honestly would make a foul up if I even tried to use these!  They will be going to a good home though!
Medusa's Makeup
Medusa's Makeup:  $8.00 (Eye Primer)
Medusa's Makeup:  I have never tried this, but I have heard wonderful things about the brand.  So, I look forward to being able to give this one a try.  A good eye primer, I have found, is essential.  This was one of my favorite things about this box!  This isn't an item you seen often in subs!

Cult Nails

Cult Nails:  I was a tad disappointed with my color.  However, after sitting with it for awhile, it's definitely grown on me!  I recently changed my profile to Neutral and looks as if they definitely listened.  I honestly didn't mean neutral polishes. LOL, but you get what you ask for and that's a GOOD thing!
LA Splash:  So, I'm pretty unfamiliar with the LA Splash Brand and have since learned that they got their start from doing swap meets.  So, it's really neat to try up and coming brands that haven't hit main street America yet!  Brands tend to lose some of their initial appeal when trying to conform to what "Mainstream America" seems to want.  I really appreciate that I get to try brands that don't have such mass popularity!  It's really a neat part of Lip Factory!

Pink Powder Parlor:  I had never ever even heard of this brand, so I googled it after receiving my box.  It looks like a really neat brand!  I'm excited to get to try it.  I love this shade!!

LA SPLASH:  Another lippy, another LA Splash item. I love this shade.  It makes a great lippy to use over a matte lipstick!

Over all, I was very pleased with this month's box!  I paid $22 and received $56.50 worth of products.  No, those aren't the largest numbers of a sub box.  However, I look at the amount of product I received and the vast array of the items.  I like that I'm trying products that I actually could afford to purchase alone, outside of the subscription service.  After all, the point of a sub box is to get you trying products that you haven't tried before and giving you an opportunity to "Try-On" the items before committing to purchase the full size !

What do you think of this month's Lip Factory??  What's your favorite item out of this months box??
If you have questions, please feel free to shoot an email or comment below!  I LOVE comments!  :)

Lip Factory July 2014 Review

Lip Factory July 2014

Lip Factory (Referral # 387068) Lip Factory is a monthly beauty subscription service, the cost is $22/ month. Subscribers receive between 5 - 7 full sized products every month!  Products range from blush to lip liners.  Every three months, Lip Factory sends a box dedicated only to the pucker!  If you are interested in subscribing, please click here, and use my referral number when filling out your profile. (REFERRAL NUMBER: 387068)

JULY 2014:  The 2nd Anniversary Box

This was my first month to receive the Lip Factory Box.  I had watched some unboxing videos on YouTube and couldn't resist the draw of full sized products!  It seemed like such a lovely deal!  I was a little late in posting this review.  I actually received my box this past Friday; July, 25.  This is a little late for a monthly subscription box, in regards to shipping date.  However, they did tell their subscribers via Facebook that our boxes would be arriving a little late.  It being the anniversary box, they were waiting on a last minute addition to arrive so they could add it to our boxes.  (They also gave us an opportunity to choose the colors we wanted, which was really nice!)

NOW the good stuff....

The July box had a total of 8 full sized products!  Which was pretty awesome.  The brands, for the most part weren't HIGH end, but maybe more towards the lower, mid tier price point.  Which, is good, if you are looking for products you can afford in case you fall in love and don't have deep pockets.  Which, I clearly don't.  I must admit, when I had first seen the box from Instagram photos, I wasn't all that excited.  However, once it actually arrived, it was a whole different story.  There were definitely some hits and misses with this box, but for the most part I would score it an overall 4 STARS.

THE PRODUCTS:

PALLADIO Brow Fix: $6 (I so misspelled the pic, sorry)  I'm great at mistakes :)

This is simply a wax.  So, it's not exactly OH YIPPIE!! product, but I guess we shall see if it ends up being a winner.  I have notoriously hideous eyebrows that I, sadly seemed to have inherited from my father.  Didn't seem to inherit much else, from him, but definitely got his out of control eye-brows...

Palladio Eye Shadow Cream & Liner: $6
Color:  Champagne

This is exactly the type of eye shadow that I love to have as a base for my eyes!  It's the absolutely perfect color and makes a great palette to build on with other colors.  Everyone should have a great base shadow color.  To me, it's one of the single most important factors in choosing your shadows.  I could be happy to get a nice white, cream, or light pink every beauty box!  So, this was a definite WIN!  5 STARS Nice that I could afford to replace it, if I fall in love with it.

Look for some color swatches towards the bottom of the review!

Eco-Lips Eco Tints: $4.49
Shade:  Sugar Plum

Wasn't all that impressed with this.  It smelled like Christmas time.  It had an overly strong peppermint smell to it, and I personally am not wild about peppermint.  Give me a strawberry, watermelon or a sugary scent... NOT mint....  This is probably about my fifth lip product that had a strong minty smell.  I suppose it's a new trend, SCENT the lippy's with Mint.  BOO...  However, the lip tint itself is pretty nice.  It will probably be shelved until Christmas time when "Sugar Plum" is more appropriate.  Sugar Plum, just doesn't seem like a very SUMMERY or Fall type flavor or shade...
This was  neither a fail nor a win in my book.  It was just there....  It's nice to try a new brand or product I've never tried before, but above that, ah...

PARI Eyeshadow: $11
Shade:  Unknown (ELECTRIC BLUE, Maybe??)

One of the most annoying parts of the whole subscription service industry is the BEAUTY PROFILE you fill out, apparently for NO reason!  I am FAR from a beauty expert, but even I KNOW that GREEN eyes and BLUE shadows DO NOT mix!!  This was an EPIC FAIL for me!  Please, if you are going to have subscribers fill out profiles, please use them.  I think that you should have some sort of algorithm or something to ensure that these type of mistakes do NOT happen!  From what I understand, up until recently Lip Factory was pretty good about going with subscribers likes and dislikes.  However, recently they made an announcement that they could NO longer cater to these needs...  It would be my luck I would jump in at the end of all the good fun!  Oh well...  read more posts about me and Birchbox and SUPERGOOP.....

J.Cat Lip Paint: $4.95
Heartadocious

This is a pretty awesome product.  However, I have the TINIEST lips EVER...  They are like non-existent...  And these bold products seem to scream where's your lip??  They only amplify the fact I have no lip line..  This product:  A small bit goes a LONG way...  You could probably have this lip paint for your entire life and use it EVERYDAY and never run out!  I mean, if you aren't worried about shelf-life...  Does make-up have a shelf life.. LOL It does!

Ofra Lip Liner: $13
Cherish

So, I'm not a HUGE lip liner wearer...  I just can't seem to be able to pull it off!  Again with the tiny lips...  However, this color is so gorgeous!  I just have to try it!  I may have to go wild and attempt this with the J. Cat paint...  Thinking it would make a fabulous combination!

BEAUTY ADDICTS: $17 EA. $34!
Lilac & Ginger

So, I decided to save the BEST for last!  I am obsessed with these glosses!!  They are sooo pretty!  This was definitely the WOW factor for the July box.  They don't seem to be too sticky, but kinda paint on.  They are pretty pigmented for glosses!  I'm in love!  This month I received a TON of lip products, which I LOVE...  and I have more on the way from swaps!  These are a keeper!  They will NOT be going on my swap board!! Follow me on Pinterest!  These were a SCORE!!  5 Stars all the way!

The Swatches:

I loved all of these swatches!  I can't wait to try the shadow!!  Plus the new lippy's!!  Will have to upload a pic whenever I'm feeling froggy !

TOTAL BOX VALUE: $79.95
PAID: $22 !

I definitely feel the value was there with this box!  It was so super exciting to get it.  However, I guess I was hoping for some wearable items like a blush or a powder...  I never see powders in these boxes (watch I'll start getting OVERLOADED now with powders & blushes...)

So, what did you think of this month's Lip Factory box??  Are you subscribed, if not do you think you will be subscribing??

I LOVE COMMENTS!!

UPCOMING THINGS:

I hope to order a Memebox that should ship anyday!!  SO, be looking for a Memebox along with some new boxes for you to order!!  I'm HOPING I'll get one of those COOL $5 codes everyone else seems to have!!

SAMPLE SOCIETY: $15 monthly beauty subscription box

I am really considering getting this box this month!  This month they are going to have Too Faced Melted lippy's and Ciate polish along with some type of mousse (not that excited about that one!).  Sample Society hasn't been known for having great boxes, however, they have done a rehaul and are supposed to be sending out some truly awesome products!  So, really thinking about it.

Popsugar: Musthave Check my Subscription Box Page for Current Deals!!

I'm debating whether or not to sign up.  I asked my husband if I should use a $10 code or a Free Towel Code (See my Special Deals page!) He surprised me by wanting the Turkish T Towel.....  Oh decisions, decisions....  We will have to see...  I may have to wait until I know what's in the box before I commit $40!

Well, it's been fun guys!  Sorry it took so long!  I thought I was going to cry when I worked on this post after four hours and my work seemingly disappeared!  LUCKILY only a tad bit had disappeared...  Thanks for reading!

Please follow my Facebook pages as well as my Sassy Gal Reads Blog !  Thanks so much!!

New to Me Subscriptions...

So, I'm super excited about two new subscription services that I will be trying this month.  I've tried a few subscription boxes, only to end up canceling them.

Lip Monthly: $10/ monthly fee
So, Lip Monthly is one of the newest subscription services out there!  They are pretty much a subscription service dedicated to the pucker.  They send you 2-3 full size products, as well as a couple of samples.  This is such a new service, that there weren't a whole gaggle of info out there, as there are with other services.  However, I did watch a few of the Unboxing videos on YouTube, and for $10 a month the amount of product that you receive is truly staggering!

I am super excited to get to try this service. It seems like a pretty good deal.  $10 for 2-3 full sized products, plus what looks to be 2-3 deluxe sized samples is a pretty good deal for $10 a month.  It's one of the lower priced boxes, rivaling Birchbox and Ipsy. Although, with Ipsy and Birchbox, you are never guaranteed to get a full size item in your box.  In fact, I have yet to receive any full sized products from Birchbox as of yet.  Although, Birchbox has it's own strengths and reasons for staying with that service.

Ipsy is a service that I'm at this point on the fence about.  When I first started using these services, I have to admit that it irked me to hear complaints and people threatening to quit. I now, after only a few bags can truly understand people's frustrations with the service. When you keep receiving products that you would never use, it can get grating. Especially when they have fab items that month, you just are never once receiving end.  Example:  May that had the very coveted Too faced Soliel bronzer sample.i would have been super happy had that been on my bag and would have overlooked the other less exciting items. The bags aren't very well balanced and I think that's where my aggregation comes to play. They quite often do have a few enviable products each month, but instead of having a balanced bag, you wind up with some bags having all of the fab items and other bags without even one if the super fab goodies.  The month they had the Too a Faced Soleil bronzer; I got a sunscreen that I honestly won't ever use, a moisturizer (a pretty low end moisturizer at that), and a Pacifica eyeshadow as well as a very cheap eyeshadow brush which is way too stiff to use in my shadows.  I mean when you work in the beauty industry, you have to know which products people are going to be excited about and if you have, say three top notch items and the other items are just so so, then take those three items and spread then out across all of the bags, making sure that each bag has at least one of the goodies instead of some bags having mediocre products that they can find at their nearest K-Mart.  OK. SO you aren't on here to hear me whine and moan about my frustrations with Ipsy. (I am still very hopeful that this is goo to be a love affair- not ready to send them a break-up note quite yet! )

So, Lip Monthly, may end up being my Ipsy replacement. I'm not sure yet. I know Ipsy just costs $10 a month, but when you are on the lower side of the income line, $10 is a lot to be throwing away every month for a service, that doesn't seem to be catering to you.  I have some other things that really irk me with Ipsy, but this isn't a bash Ipsy post.  And I do still love the cute bags I get, and the samples that I'm not wild about, all go onto my swap board or inside customer packages (Through my Sassy Gal Shops boutique).

The Lip Monthly Unboxing videos I watched on YouTube, were really very exciting. Although, they do seem to be sending out the same products to everyone. Hopefully, they at least take your profile into consideration when picking your shades. However, as this is a new service (This is their third month). I'm quite sure that there will be a learning curve for them and we just will have to hang on while they adjust their service as they find out what is working and what's not.  I can be patient for a service this new!

I have no clue how long it should take for me to get my first Lip Monthly package, but as soon as it comes, you can bet I will be posting about it and telling you whether or not it's a go or a major fail.

Since, I haven't personally received a Lip Monthly box, I went online to snag a couple of pics for you guys to see some of their past boxes.  May was there first box, so there wasn't an overwhelming amount of information available.

I think that these little boxes are so super cute!

I so wish I had been able to get this Stila liner, as it's now a discontinued item!
I can't express to you how stoked I am to get my first box.

I don't know about you, but I get super excited when I look at those pictures.  The service seems pretty awesome for just $10/ month.  If you have some other pics that aren't shown here of more fab items from e Lip Monthly service, please email me!  I would love to update this to include even more fabulous pics.  A pic is always way better than words.

Lip Factory, Inc. : $22/ monthly
So, being new to the whole subscription box world, it's taking me quite sometime to weed out the not so fab services and find some really good services offering a good bang for your buck.  I was super impressed when I was googling for Lip Monthly and came across YouTube videos about this Lip Fsctory service. Every month you get what seems to be at least 5 full sized products.  Despite the name, it isn't a service that focuses solely on the lips. Although, every three or four months they will do a box dedicated to the love of the lip.

Side Note:  they also contribute a portion of the proceeds from every box to a charity. It's always nice to spend your money with a company that thinks about giving back.

So, I had watched quite a few Unboxing videos for Lip Factory, and to be quite honest it as the Mememe blush box that really had my mouth watering for this service. They seem to be sending products from brands O have yet to try out. The Mememe blush appears to be a lower priced option compared to the Benefit blushers.  I realize that havijust been inside a Lip Factory box, I'm not going to unfortunately be seeing this in my box anytime soon, although I will definitely be on the lookout to purchase or swap for one.

I have heard people complain about being overloaded with Be a Bombshell cosmetics out of all the subscription services and to be honest, I have seen this brand popping up in quite a few of the pictures of various subscription services.  However, I have only tried the One Stick (in shade Sunset), and I really enjoyed it.  It is a product that you can use either for your blush or for your lipstick!  I, personally am all about multiple-use products. It cuts down on baggage, when going out and having your makeup handy for touch ups to use items that you can use for multiple things.

If you know anyone who has this fab Mememe blush and wants to sell or swap, Pls let me know!

I have to be honest here, I have never once tried nail wraps (I'm assuming that's what is in the above pic). I have no clue if this is a product I would actually use or not, but it would be nice to every now and then get a product new to me, so I could try it through a sub service before going and shelling out for a full sized item at full cost.

And that's the whole point of all of these services. If you haven't yet gotten in the sub box game, and find the obsession with subscription boxes comical, then I urge you to think about the value inside these services.  For not a whole lot of money, you are getting to try out new brands, products, and even items you may not have considered purchasing before.  Granted, you probably aren't going to be 100% happy with every single item that comes, but it's a fabulous and economical way of finding fabulous new products that you might not have ever tried on your own.

Unlike Wantable where each box is picked based on your individual likes and dislikes, these boxes seem for the most part to each contain the same products (although the shades may vary, not sure). There are a few boxes that are in the same price range, and I may eventually give those a try as well.  For now, I chose this box, because it's a box I hadn't really heard all that much about and sometimes you just want to be a little different.

Note:  Please consider using my referral code when filling out your beauty profile, should you choose to purchase Lip Factory.  They have a point reward system, although to be quite frank, I'm not quite sure what you get with your points. But rewards are always a nice thing!  So if you decide to purchase a subscription after reading about it, I am always super grateful for anyone who uses my links or referral codes.

Well, that's it for now.  Stay Tuned for the Unboxing of these fab services in just a couple of weeks.  Be sure to come back and see what goodies I got this month in all my boxes.

I signed up on maybe June -5th, thinking I would be receiving the June box, but later found out it wouldn't be sent until July boxes were mailed out.  So, as soon as I receive my subscription, I will definitely update you on whether it's a flop or a fab box!  I have heard some not so awesome things about this service, so I can't really feel ok with promoting it as of yet.  I honestly haven't been that impressed with pictures I have seen as of yet, but who knows. Just FYI:  $12/ monthly I'm not certain what all you receive in this box. I signed up because it was for a free box. So you can't much complain with free, but whether or not I keep the service is still to be decided.

In all I will be spending: $64 on 5 subscription boxes. It's a little high, but I'm not sure whether I will be keeping them all.  I may also add the Popsugar Must Have box back into the lineup when I see what's in this months box.  I loved all the goodies from last month!  Especially the book!!!

Well, that's it for today folks. I know I have an increasing problem with these services. But, I am really quick to cut a service off if I don't feel I am getting a good return on my investment. This is becoming my source for receiving make-up.  There are also a ton of swap boards available for people who aren't wild about the items they receive. So, you can usually make good with your purchases regardless!  Thanks so much for tuning in!!

Check out all the fun Unboxing posts as they become available. I didn't even do Ipsy or Popsugar (when you've seen one Popsugar unveiling you've seen them all). If you would like to see more Unboxing than I have been doing , feel free to comment. I just know that there's an overwhelming amount of blogs posting all the Unboxing. I try to concentrate more on reviewing the actual products.  Seek gas as I didn't use any of the Ipsy items, it was kinda hard to do that. Lol. Although, I am working on a post that will show pics of some past sub boxes I've received including my Birchbox, Ipsy, and Wantable boxes.

Feel free to give advice or suggestions on what sort of info you would like to see. I don't have an outside job, so I spend an incredible amount of time doing research on random things. I know a lot of you are working women who may not have time to do your own research and so, that's a lot of the purpose of this blog is to try to cut out some of the guess work.

My son accidentally broke our only computer, so I as of now, only have my iPad mini to use for all my blogging and work. It means that ins might not be quite as crisp as I'd like for them to be.  It's super hard because my work gets erased sometimes if I go into another app for a second and forget to save my work.  So please, bear with me until we can figure out a way to replace our computer!  Thanks so much for your support and sticking with me during this initial phase of being a newbie...

Xoxo
