 The Ozeri Elite Chef's Black Ceramic Knife Set truly is gorgeous.  I wasn't aware that the blades were black, it's hard to see in the pictures that it's not a Silver looking color, so when I opened the box I was in for a nice surprise.

COMFORT:

They truly do fit in your hand quite nicely.  My hands are quite small and so it's always hard for me to find a good handle that doesn't cause my hands to tire or to cramp up.  Especially a job like peeling potatoes can be extremely wearing on my hands, but I didn't experience any tension or pain while peeling potatoes with the Ozeri Knives.  

Ergonomic Design: Less Fatigue & Pain

My Thoughts:

Well, I've already told you what I think about the sleek design of the knives as well as the comfort.  But none of that really matters unless it can actually perform.  This is a great set, whether you are needing to peel potatoes, slice onions (YUCK), or cut up some bacon or other small meats; This set really gives you a range of tasks in which you can perform with this set.

Price:  $39.95

The price isn't bad at ALL!  Not for a high quality knife set.  You can pay astronomical prices for a good set of knives.  So, this is definitely an affordable option.

I actually decided to put this in several of the Guides.  It's a great gift idea for Men or Women (Please, if you do decide to purchase a knife set, I would recommend asking the Receiver of the Gift to please give you a penny...  People who are superstitious believe that if you "Gift" knives that you are essentially "Cutting off that relationship", so unless you are trying to tell your Aunt Zelda that you don't really want to ever speak to her again...  Ask for at least a penny so there are no hard feelings...).  It's an especially great gift idea for the "Foodie" in your life.

My Thoughts

I am not an expert on showerheads or the technical aspects that go into making a showerhead.  But, from a user standpoint, I'm extremely impressed with the quality and performance of this showerhead.

We have received quite a few showerheads in the past year.  First, we received a RainFall showerhead, that we absolutely were crazy about.  Then, we received a handheld showerhead.  The problem:  WE loved them both, but had to choose whether to have the handheld up or the Rainfall.

THIS showerhead solved that problem for us.  While this isn't a rainfall showerhead, it is a really nice standard showerhead, and I love that it has the attached handheld already in place so you don't have to go and buy extra fittings to put two seperate showerheads together.  This has everything you need.

You can use it 3 ways.

• With the Main Showerhead ONLY
• With the Handheld ONLY
• or With Both going at once!!

Unfortunately, we don't have the BEST water pressure.  So, most of the time I usually just use one at a time, although there are times I switch it.

It's so stinking easy to change the setting, there's a knob that you just twist to your desired setting.

Each showerhead also features different spray patterns,so you truly can have a customized shower experience.

The quality of this really blew us away.  Previous showerheads claimed to be Chrome, yet they felt like plastic and the way they were made, you could just tell they weren't so high quality.  This is a truly higher end model.  It feels solid, it doesn't feel cheap at all.  

Verdict:

Would I recommend this product?  ABSOLUTELY!

BEST Feature:  The ability to have the best of both worlds.  Having the handheld!!!

Any Cons?  The only con maybe would be the price, it's definitely a higher priced showerhead.  But, Hotel Spa also has some really nicely priced ones as well!

With the beginning of a New Year, what better time to start thinking about updating and making changes to your home as well?  We can get ourselves in a "design rut" and have the best intentions of sprucing things up and making them all new and pretty "one day" and sometimes you wake up and realize that it's been fifteen years since you did a "Overhaul" on your bedroom, living room, etc.

Dotandbo.com is a superb site for all your decorating needs!  They have just about anything you could think of when it comes to home decor!!  They also have some fun and quirky items that make fabulous gifts!  I'm telling you, stroll through their site and you will get lost in a neverland of quirky awesomeness!

A Shopper's Dream....

So, many of my readers are probably aware that I am greatly hindered in my ability to freely go places.  Our current transportation is severly lacking.  We are surviving with absolutely no vehicle and so we are dependeant upon the kindness of others to get anywhere.  This can GREATLY impact things such as purchasing gifts, etc.  Thank GOD for the internet and the unlimited possibilities of shopping online.

I'm not exactly sure when exactly I became aware of DotAndBo.com, but I know I've been stalking their site for quite some time.  So, back in September I believe it was, I first contacted them to inquire about doing a review on my site.  It took a bit of time to actually get things in order, but in December, I was finally lucky enough to receive my review product!!

So, I had the opportunity to select I believe up to 3 items.  I'm going to be really honest, I had such a hard time narrowing my choices to just 3, I believe I ended up giving the poor Marketing person about 6 different items that I was dying to get my hands on.

So, I wasn't quite sure what would be arriving at my home when I received the email that my item had shipped!

The Eggscellent Rug from DotandBo.com is 2' x 3' long and this is my first ever NEW rug that I've ever had!  This rug is absolutely gorgeous!   I'm almost afraid to keep it put down.  The reason it has taken me so long to put my review up, is I like to take really gorgeous pictures and my bathroom is the only half way decent floor space that I had and I just wasn't pleased with how it looked (On MY end, nothing to do with the rug).

So, one of the most AWESOME things about the Dotandbo.com site, is that when you sign up through a referral link, you receive a $20 credit and the person who referred you also receives a $20 credit!!  I finally spammed my Facebook with my referral link and was able to save up enough credits to make a really significant purchase!!

I am IN LOVE with this chair.  Unfortunately, there was some type of issue when DotandBo received my chair and it didn't meet their "Quality Control" standards and so I haven't actually received it as of yet (They are hoping maybe by February I should have it)

(One of the reasons I delayed my review, was I really had hoped to have live pictures of my rocking chair to show you guys, I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as it comes in!  I'm so stinking excited about this chair!!!!  I'm hoping to make it my "YouTube" filming chair :)

CHECK THE SHIPPING DATES:

So, the thing about DotandBo.com is that they work with several artists and different suppliers, which is why their site is so absolutely vast and filled with such a unique array of products.  The one downfall to this, is that there can be a delay in when a product will ship.  However, you will know around about when your product should ship.  It will tell you when your looking at the product when that particular item should ship.  I just wanted to notate this so that if you do go shopping on this site, you aren't shocked if you don't pay attention and then realize only later that it might be a month before your items ship!

My Christmas Purchases:

Like I said previously, there are SO many items I want on this site, that I could easily spend about $20,000 and not blink twice.  They have such a fascinating selection of products, that it's hard to narrow down what you want!

After purchasing my chair, I found myself with a little of extra leftover and so I had my eye on this LegoHead for awhile!  It took maybe about a week to receive it after it shipped.  So, that's not TERRIBLE, but I suppose that it's a way for them to bring quality products at a fair price.  They price shipping based on the purchase price.

The items themselves were TOP notch!  So, I now have THREE items from DotandBo.com and I am overly pleased with them all!  The LegoHead was so much larger than what I had anticipated it to be!  It ended up being a gift for my 13 year old daughter and she LOVES it!

Ms. LegoHead even looks good with the lid off!  It really is a handy storage container!!  I know as of right now, the site is sold out, but you can click the "I want it" button and they will send you an alert when the item is back in stock (If they bring it back).

OVERALL:

Overall, I am obsessed with the dotandbo.com site!  I mean, they have products ranging from gorgeous rugs to sofas!!  If it goes in your house, you can find it on the DotandBo.com site!!  Seriously!  They have EVERYTHING!!!  Just a couple points to remember:  You can get a $20 credit if you sign up through a referral link: dotandbo.com (My referral Link) !  (You cannot pay shipping costs with referral credits) SHIPPING:  Note the shipping dates when you are making your purchases!!! Share your own referral link to get more credits!!

One thing that I am disappointed in, is the shipping of my chair.  I had to seek out answers as to where my chair was.  It had been marked as shipped within two days of my purchase and yet, a week or so later the tracking wasn't updating and so I literally had to call and message them about five times before I finally was told that they had received the chair from the artist and it didnt' meet their standards and so they had sent it back to get me a new chair.  

I probably could easily put about a hundred items in my favorites!  Literally!  I have everything from a gorgeous set of dishes to little radios on my current favorites list!

So, I feel like a grown person now.  Officially.  How much more grown and adult is owning your own fabric steamer????  I absolutely love this steamer!!

What It Is:

This is a fabric steamer, used for your clothes or your furniture!

• Fabric Brush Attachment PLUS a Crease Clip
• It's easy set-up!
• Is on roller's making it easy to move around!

Setting Up the Steamer:

Setting up the steamer seemed so intimidating in the beginning!  Truly, I was like OH MY GOSH, how in the world am I going to ever get this thing together.  The only things that really had me scratching my head was the Crease Clip, I kept looking for where to stick it onto the steamer.  However, after only about 20 minutes I realized that it wasn't actually meant to be a permenant fixture on the steamer, but was an attachment instead.

If you don't count the time I spent in confusion over the little clip, it only took about ten minutes to set up!  It was really simple and straight forward.

The directions include Dummy Pictures, for folks like me who don't respond well to written directions, but instead perform better with picture demonstrations.

Steamed Up:

So, I really am pleased with my steamer.  It's perfect for what I needed it for, I needed a good steamer to clean my sofa, etc.  This is perfect for just that purpose.  It helps to steam your fabric furniture at least I would think every 6 months or at minimum every year! 

For myself, I have to steam more often than that because I am GOD forbid a smoker...

It's my one bad habit, don't drink don't do anything else, but I do smoke cigarettes.  Trying to switch over to the Nuvo.

This Epica Fabric Steamer is HUGE!  It's pretty tall, although it is quite slim and so it can easily slide into a small space for storage.  And the pole is removable and so you could actually take it apart if you needed to for more storage ideas!

So, overall this is a great purchase.  Whether you are looking for a steamer for your clothes or for your furniture, this is a great steamer.  This would make a great item to have for holiday preperations!

My Thoughts:

I was pleasantly surprised when my box of glasses arrived.  I wasn't expecting for them to have a different design in each of the glasses.  That was one of the coolest parts of unboxing this set of glasses!  They also are short, but with a capability of holding 8 oz of fluid, it is large enough for a single drink serving!  These would be ideal for holiday parties this Christmas season!  They also have a larger version of these that come in a 12 oz size, and those are just as pretty as these are!

If you aren't looking to purchase yourself some new glasses for your own home, this would make a great gift for someone else this holiday season!  They scream sophistication and I'm sure whomever received these glasses as a gift would leave with a smile on their face!!

I love my glasses personally, we've used them a few times and while they are great for everyday use, I prefer to keep them put up for fancier occassions!  I am really pleased with these!!  I was planning on using them as a gift, but um then I used them and fell in love.....  That's a side effect of this job.

My Thoughts:

Easy Setup:

For starters, I love that this fan came with a remote!  I just pray I can keep up with it.  However, it works just fine without the remote as well!  Our family truly was desperately in the need for a tower fan.  We had NONE and so, I was thrilled to the the chance to try this one out!  

For starters, set up was truly a breeze.  I thought that I was going to have to wait until my husband came so he could set it up, but I was easily able to do it on my own!  All it truly required was putting the tower on the ground, slipping the stand around the bottom and then there was a screw I used to screw onto the stand, and PRESTO I had a working fan!

The Touch-Screen is Super Easy!

Power You Can't Hear:

So, I truly am amazed at how powerful this fan is!  It can cool off my Kitchen / Living room area, with ease.  I love the fact that it is a rotating fan, so it can circulate the air.  Many times, it's not even that I'm hot, but that it's stuffy because of poor air circulation in my home and so having a low setting in which to place this fan and also having it rotate provides me with the needed air circulation I need.

Overall:

So, I am just truly IN LOVE with this fan.  I love that it has three seperate fans that you can control individually (Press the shift button and then you can control the individual fans).  Sometimes you may not need as many fans running and so, having the ability to turn an individual fan off can truly come in handy!  

This is handsdown the NICEST fan I've ever laid eyes on!  If you are in the market for a new fan for your home, I definitely recommend this one!!

The holidays are upon us.  Like every year, it seems like ages until Christmas will arrive.  Then, one morning we wake up and realize we only have 31 days left until the big, jolly guy in the Red Suit comes making his way down chimney's all across the world.

If you're anything like me, you have left a million things unfinished and it all comes barreling towards you so fast you can't keep up.

One of the things that we often times forget about are the batteries.  How many times have you woke up on Christmas morning and your child goes to open a present and pulls out that awesome new remote control car (Batteries not included) and you realize, OH MY GOSH I forgot the batteries!!

This battery charger, is an awesome way to get you prepared for all those toys that come needing to be powered by batteries.  It can charge AA or AAA batteries, it also doesn't take very long to charge.  PLEASE NOTE: The batteries are NOT included with this charger, I purchased the batteries seperately!

So, at Christmas time, if you are like me, you have tons of decor that requires dim lighting.  Your average light bulb is going to put off far too much light to really set the right tone.

With these incandescent bulbs, they put off just the right amount of light to truly create a nice setting.  I have a light that hangs on my headboard, and my husband used to couldn't stand for me to use it.  However, when I put this bulb in it, it's the perfect amount of light for a "night light".  It is bright enough to allow me to read in bed, but dim enough to allow him to go to sleep.
