My Thoughts:

So, prior to using this brush, I'd not ever used a brush for applying my foundation.  So, because of that it is a little hard for me to review from a knowledgable standpoint.  I just am not very knowledgable about foundation brushes.

I have, however tried tons of other types of brushes and so I'm fairly confident in my ability to determine quality.  I really like the asthetics of this brush, it's an attractive looking brush!  The handle is extremely sturdy and durable.  It's a solid brush, meaning it's not hollow anywhere.  Also, the brush itself the hairs seem extremely secure and not loose in anyway.

The hairs of the brush are really soft and feel good on my face.  I had no issue with fallout when using the brush.  I have seen several types of foundation brushes and so, I suppose that it depends on your personal preference as to what shape you prefer. This particular brush is tapered all around. which I could see as being helpful to get to the creases of your nose and eyes, etc.

I'm an over "Thirty" and so for it being a new experience for myself, I don't know how likely I am going to be to toss my sponges for a foundation brush.  However on my limited experience I really was impressed with this brush and will definitely try working with it more often to see if I can get used using a brush instead of a sponge.

It definitely seems as if a brush might be easier to clean and keep hygenic and so that's a huge motivation for trying to get used to using a brush.  I did use this a couple of times for my foundation and it was really a whole different experience for someone used to using a sponge.  It wasn't bad, just it was weird for me.  I felt like I was a kid playing in paint and rubbing paint on my face.

Brush or Sponge?

What do you usually use for applying foundation?  Am I just really old school, or are there others who prefer sponges?  For myself it's a totally new concept to me that people use brushes for their foundation!  I would love to hear what you use for your daily makeup routine and why you prefer that method!!
